I have always loved adventure. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to travel to see the world and to expand my view of life, reality, and what is possible. Over my lifetime I have clocked up a cumulative total of 12 years of full-time travel to 54 Countries and 500 cities. No short trips for me. I love to linger, sip coffee, chat and imbue the atmosphere.
Most of us are overscheduled and have no time to feel. Love requires feeling. No feeling = no love.
You’ll find the future wherever people are having the most fun. Well then, I would say interactive video games are predicting a new world of virtual reality.
After the recent US election and the BREXIT, it appears there is a backlash against globalization. As if stopping immigration and putting up trade barriers are going to fix it! How are the protectionists going to stop the free flow of human capital and ideas? Perform a Men in Black Memory Eraser?
I love this video by Steven Johnson about how inventions happen from fun and play as much as anything via TEDEd. Check it out:
Life is never easy. Challenges, happen for all of us and the only question is if we allow them to take us off our game or use them as inspiration to find the good purpose in them.
This video is very well produced, inspiring and a reminder to keep going.
Failure is the driver of evolution
Many of us wonder how biological organisms evolve and adapt over time. This time-lapse video shows how bacteria become resistant to antibiotics. It also shows how mutations by the few survivors prompt the evolution.
The ultimate failure is extinction, which occurs when there are no survivors. When a small number survive they mutate. Makes me think about how changes are happening so fast today that it’s our consciousness that is evolving faster than our biology.
I believe the new frontier is consciousness education.
This video is totally mesmerizing!
Folks, I believe it is time to let go of these stereotypes.
Truth is, there is nothing sexier than a fully-alive, fully-expressed person from any race or culture!

It takes energy and dedication to focus on details and continue this over time. All great works of art, gold medals, moving design, music, financial and business success involves this same energy and dedication to details that most people consider boring and repetitive.
What great work will you engage in today?
21,674 hours of practice will move an audience. Wow.
Why I Stopped Watching Porn | Ran Gavrieli
In this video, Ran delivers a thought-provoking talk about why he gave up porn. Over the past two decades, I have coached, talked to and counselled many couples and men who were addicted to watching porn. It’s a controversial subject, and I suppose anyone who is addicted does not welcome the enquiry nor the suggestion that porn may be ruining their life and relationships.
In a relationship, unspoken resentment and festering issues cause disconnection and unhappiness. This leads to more and more distance, which in turn, leads to a desensitisation. Meaning, that the couple requires more stimulation for arousal. This is where porn often makes the problem worse or is one of the original causes.
The solution is to resolve the relationship issues, which will lead to a cessation of porn.
Porn is usually not isolated. It is part of a package of behaviours that include; cheating, lying, prostitution, gambling, drugs and alcohol abuse. Not to say that everyone who uses porn has all these, however, they will have more than just one…
Scientists have created an interactive map of the brain that shows which areas light up when a person hears different words. This challenges old assumptions of how the brain process words and language.
This is a very moving advert for a phone company. From where? Thailand of course!
Entertaining, moving. It’s a mini-movie.
I have watched this more than 50 times… and it still blows my mind!
